Power and boot up

Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 connector jack on the back of the sonicTransporter. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a router that has access to the internet.

Connect the 19 DC power supply that came with the sonicTransporter.

Do not use more than 19v or you will damage your sonicTransporter.

Wait approximately 60 seconds for the sonicTransporter to boot up and it should be ready to use.


Accessing the sonicTransporter's administration and configuration page

From any web browser on your home network enter the URL www.sonicorbiter.com to locate the sonicTransporter's GUI.

Click manage next to the sonicTransporter you want to configure.

You should now see the sonicTransporter's configuration and administration web page.


Attaching a UBS drive filled with music to the sonicTransporter

Connect your USB drive to the soniceTransporter. Almost any drive format will work. This works best if only music files are on the drive.

Go to the administration and configuration page and select Manage -> Apps -> drive mounter. Then select the USB tab. use the drop-down to select your USB drive.

We recommend mounting your drive read-only unless you want to add files to the drive using the sonicTransporter's network file share.

Select the default mount point.
